Swiss chard: a quick and easy recipe

Chard is a leafy vegetable that can be cooked in a thousand and one ways. It can be used in both savory and sweet recipes! The advantage is that all the parts are eaten, you just have to wash the chard well before tasting. Today we invite you to explore the Mangold quiche. This simple and quick recipe will delight young and old alike. Here is a recipe for delicious chard.

What I need:

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 4 mantelia
  • 25 cl fresh cream
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 10 cl milk
  • 100 g Salers
  • 2 slices of white ham
  • 1 chicken broth cube
  • Chopped pepper
  • Salt

Manufacturing steps with quiche mangel :

1) Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees.

2) Wash the chard and peel them at stem level. Cut the ribs.

3) Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil and add salt and chicken cube. Add the almond ribs and cook for 10 minutes. Then add the leaves and cook for another 3 minutes.

4) Drain and rinse the chard under cold running water after cooking. Once they have cooled, cut them.

5) Unroll the puff pastry in a pie tin and prick with a fork.

6) Add the cream, eggs and milk to the salad bowl and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

7) Cut the ham slices into strips and place them on the bottom of the pie. Add the chard, salers cheese and egg-based mixture on top.

8) Bake the chard for 45 minutes.
